Placed Students Felicitated at RBU’s Placement Summit

Chandigarh , May 29: Rayat Bahra University organised “Placement Summit 2026” to celebrate the outstanding placement achievements of its graduating students, bringing together university leadership, industry experts, alumni, and students on a common platform dedicated to career excellence and professional success.

The event commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony led by the chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, and other distinguished dignitaries. The summit witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various university schools.

The keynote address was delivered by Ms. Vandana Thakur, Senior Manager – Human Resources & Administration at Stylam Industries Limited. She was accompanied by Ms. Kavita, Manager – Training & Campus Relations, and Ms. Vandana Kansal, Manager – Technical Training. Sharing valuable industry insights, Ms. Thakur highlighted the importance of employability skills, adaptability, leadership qualities, and continuous learning in today’s competitive professional landscape.

Congratulating the students on their placement success, Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra said that the university remains committed to providing industry-oriented education and creating strong career opportunities for students. Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar encouraged students to continue striving for excellence and to uphold the values of professionalism, innovation, and integrity in their future careers.

One of the major highlights of the summit was the “Student Success Stories Session,” where students from different university schools shared their inspiring placement journeys, learning experiences, and career aspirations. The event also featured alumni and student video testimonials, cultural performances, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities.

During the felicitation ceremony, students who secured placements were honoured with certificates and sashes in recognition of their achievements and dedication. The summit reflected the university’s strong focus on industry engagement, skill development, and holistic student growth.

The event was successfully organised through the collaborative efforts of the Placement Department, Branding & Events Department, Creative Department, and various University Schools of Rayat Bahra University.
