Traditional fervour marks Baisakhi celebrations at RBU

The Rayat Bahra University came alive with vibrant colours and festive spirit as the University School of Social Sciences and Education organized a cultural event titled “Creative Souls: Celebrating Cultural Goals – A Festive Fusion” to mark the occasion of Baisakhi.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who presented a variety of traditional performances, including Ladakhi and Rajasthani folk dances, as well as energetic Gidha and Bhangra. The performances highlighted the rich cultural diversity of India and captivated the audience with their liveliness and grace.
Students dressed in traditional attire added to the festive ambiance, transforming the auditorium into a celebration of heritage and unity.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Inderpreet Kaur (Dean) emphasized the importance of preserving cultural values and promoting inclusivity through such events.
The event concluded with Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Bansal, Pro Vice-Chancellor, distributed prizes to the participants and appreciated their efforts and talent.
On this occasion, Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group, extended his heartfelt Baisakhi greetings to the students and the people across the country.
The celebration not only showcased artistic excellence but also strengthened the spirit of togetherness and cultural pride among students.
