RBU Hosts Expert Talk on German Education System, Highlights Global Opportunities

Students Gain Insights into German Education at Expert Session in RBU

Rayat Bahra University organised an expert talk on ‘Understanding the German Education System’ with the objective of creating awareness among students about international education opportunities and global career pathways.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Prof (Dr) Simerjit Kaur, Dean Students Welfare, who welcomed the dignitaries and participants and briefed them about the purpose and significance of the expert talk.
Prof (Dr) Sanjay Kumar, Group Vice- Chancellor, while addressing the gathering, highlighted the strengths of the Indian education system and emphasised how academic collaboration between India and Germany could be highly beneficial for both nations. He encouraged students to explore diverse career and higher education opportunities available in Germany and other countries.
Prof (Dr) Satish Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor, also expressed his appreciation for organising such informative and student-centric sessions, stating that such initiatives play a crucial role in broadening students’ global outlook and career prospects.

The keynote speaker for the session was Dr Anna Hermes, Faculty and Researcher from the University of Applied Sciences, Wiener Neustadt, Austria. She provided valuable insights into various career opportunities available for students in Germany under different academic and professional programmes.
Dr Anna also elaborated on the application process for pursuing higher education in Germany, offering practical guidance to aspiring students.
Following the session, Rajan Kumar conducted a tour of the International Department for the dignitaries. He also proposed a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, speaker, organisers, and participants for making the event a success.
The expert talk was well received by students and faculty alike and reaffirmed Rayat Bahra University’s commitment to promoting international exposure and global learning opportunities for its students.
