National Recognition for Rayat Bahra University NCC Cadet

Rayat Bahra University (RBU) has achieved another moment of pride as NCC Cadet Senior Under Officer (SUO) Anuradha has been selected to participate in the prestigious Republic Day Parade on January 26 at Kartavya Path (India Gate), New Delhi.
During the Republic Day celebrations, NCC cadets will present a ceremonial salute to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. SUO Anuradha’s selection for this national honour reflects her exceptional discipline, dedication, and commitment to excellence, values strongly nurtured by the NCC Department of Rayat Bahra University. Her achievement has brought immense pride not only to herself but also to the entire university fraternity.
This accomplishment adds to the growing list of achievements of the NCC/NSS Department of Rayat Bahra University, which functions under the able guidance and leadership of Director NCC/NSS, Prof. (Maj.) A. S. Chahal, along with his dedicated team.
Further enhancing the university’s national recognition, NCC Cadet Under Officer Manpreet Kaur successfully participated in the prestigious All India Thal Sainik Camp (AITSC) held at DG NCC, New Delhi, from September 1 to September 12, 2025. Her outstanding participation and exemplary performance at this highly competitive national-level camp brought significant acclaim to the university.
In another notable achievement, NSS Volunteer Khushi Thakur represented Rayat Bahra University at the Pre-Republic Day (Pre-RD) Camp held from November 21 to November 30. Her participation in this important preparatory national-level camp highlighted the commitment, discipline, and service-oriented spirit of RBU’s NSS volunteers.
Through their participation in esteemed All-India and Pre-RD level camps, these three young women cadets have significantly enhanced the reputation and prestige of Rayat Bahra University at the national level, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to holistic education, leadership development, and nation-building.
Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University Gurvinder Singh Bahra, congratulated SUO Anuradha and the other cadets, saying that these achievements reflect the strong development of discipline, patriotism, and leadership qualities among the university’s students. He added that Rayat Bahra University is committed to preparing dedicated and responsible citizens for the nation through activities like NCC and NSS.
