Celebrating Global Success: RBU Holds Convocation for International Students

Global Achievers Honoured at Rayat Bahra University

Mohali, August 11:
Rayat Bahra University organized its 5th International Students Convocation to honor the achievements of international students pursuing education in diverse disciplines at the university. Degrees were conferred upon students from Management, Engineering, Allied Health Sciences, Social Sciences, and other streams.

The convocation ceremony was marked by an impressive academic procession, graced by Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice-President Dr. Satbir Sehgal, Dean Academic Affairs Dr. Satish Kumar Bansal, Dean Students Welfare Dr. Simerjit Kaur, Controller of Examinations Er. Abhinav Tripathi, and other distinguished dignitaries.

Addressing the gathering, Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, the Chief Guest, congratulated the graduates and lauded their determination to excel in academics away from their home countries. He emphasized that the university is proud to have nurtured international students who will now contribute to society globally. Highlighting the institution’s vision, he stressed the need to develop well-rounded individuals who are socially, psychologically, and behaviorally competent to meet global challenges.

International students also joined virtually, sharing heartfelt messages about their learning experiences, emotional bonds, and commitment to staying connected with their alma mater.

Dean Students Welfare Dr. Simerjit Kaur said that RBU provides not only academic excellence but also instills values of humility, honesty, and empathy in its graduates. Er. Abhinav Tripathi, Controller of Examinations, extended warm wishes for the future of the graduates, while Suhel, Director International, encouraged them to continue achieving success in their chosen fields.

The convocation concluded with an atmosphere of pride and celebration, marking another milestone in RBU’s journey of fostering global education and cultural exchange.
