Art Director Lauds AI-Driven Design Exhibition at Rayat Bahra University
Industry Stalwart Lauds Design Exhibition of RBU Students
Chandigarh, July 24
Rayat Bahra University hosted its Semester-End Industry Jury and Interaction, where the Graphic Design artworks of students were critically reviewed by renowned Art Director Ravi Sharma, a leading industry stalwart who recently represented Tri-City at the Mumbai Art Fair 2024.
Ravi Sharma was welcomed with a guided tour of the students’ Design Exhibition, which showcased innovative AI-based design solutions created for the campus. The event also featured detailed student presentations on core design concepts, branding, and advertising projects.
Impressed by the creative outcomes, Ravi Sharma remarked, “I have rarely seen students being grilled in the design basics to this extent. The practical approach of tackling real-life design problems is commendable. The best part is the exposure students get to the latest Design AI tools, setting them apart from the crowd.”
Parminder Singh Roobal, Head of USAAD, highlighted that the exhibition was a reflection of RBU’s pioneering efforts in AI-enabled Animation and Design programmes, offering students practical industry exposure and the ability to address real-world challenges.
The interaction turned into a valuable learning experience for students, who not only showcased their talent but also absorbed professional insights from Sharma’s creative journey.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra praised the innovative works of the students, expressing confidence that they would continue to achieve excellence and make their mark in the world of design.
The event reinforced Rayat Bahra University’s commitment to nurturing industry-ready design professionals through its forward-thinking curriculum and strong industry connect.
