Rayat Bahra University has added another feather to its cap with the outstanding achievement of Ms. Archisha Thakur, a fourth-year (7th Semester) Bachelor of Physiotherapy student at the University School of Physiotherapy & Radiology (USPR), who secured the title of Third Runner-Up at Miss Northern India 2026. She was also honoured with the prestigious “Miss Talented” title for her exceptional confidence, stage presence and overall performance.
The University attributed Archisha’s remarkable achievement to its unwavering commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals through a balanced focus on academic excellence, leadership, creativity, and extracurricular development. Under the visionary leadership of Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Rayat Bahra University continues to provide students with opportunities to excel beyond the classroom.
The pageant, organised by Feet of Fire Production under the direction of Amit Bhatia, was held in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The competition featured auditions, semi-finals and a grand finale, with participants from across Northern India competing for top honours. Through determination, talent and consistent performance, Archisha earned a place among the leading finalists.
A major highlight of the event was the presentation of the “Miss Talented” award by Manika Vishwakarma, Miss Universe India 2025, making the recognition even more significant. Congratulating the young achiever, Prof. (Dr.) Lalit Kumar Gupta, Dean, University School of Physiotherapy & Radiology, described the accomplishment as a proud moment for the University. He said Archisha’s success reflects the institution’s holistic approach to education and serves as an inspiration for students to pursue excellence in academics while confidently exploring their talents beyond the classroom .
