Rayat Bahra University Honours Women Achievers at ‘Nari Shakti Samman Ceremony’

Rayat Bahra University organised the prestigious “Nari Shakti Samman Ceremony” to recognise and celebrate the remarkable achievements of women who have excelled in their respective fields and brought pride to the nation through their dedication, determination, and perseverance.
Addressing the gathering, Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra expressed immense pride in the accomplishments of the awardees. He said that the university feels honoured by the achievements of its daughters who have broken barriers to qualify the highly competitive Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination and achieve national recognition.
He emphasised that their success reflects discipline, perseverance, and a strong commitment to excellence, and serves as an inspiration for young students aspiring to achieve great heights.
The Chief Guest, former Member of Parliament Avinash Rai Khanna, praised the resilience, sincerity, and focus of the awardees. He said their success in clearing the UPSC examination is highly commendable and added that the nation would feel even prouder when these talented women contribute actively to the development and upliftment of society.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar also lauded the achievements of the awardees and encouraged students to remain dedicated to their goals. He stated that determination and consistent efforts can turn every dream into reality.
Among the awardees, Rakhi Chaudhary (UPSC) shared her inspiring journey and spoke about the importance of family support while balancing personal and professional responsibilities. Kritika Chaudhary (UPSC) highlighted the role of consistency and staying updated with current affairs in preparing for competitive examinations, while Chartered Accountant Jessika encouraged aspirants to remain disciplined and focused in their preparation.
Aash Marwaha fashprism miss India also shared her inspiring story of overcoming challenges despite limited resources and urged young girls to believe in their dreams and work hard to achieve them. Madam Jessica Bahra was also present on the occasion.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Simerjit Kaur, Dean, Student Welfare, who appreciated the dignitaries and participants for making the event meaningful and inspiring. The women achievers were honoured with tokens of appreciation, making the ceremony a memorable celebration of women’s strength, determination, and success.
