Humanity First: RBU’s Social Initiatives Earn National Recognition

Outstanding Contribution Award for Rayat Bahra University

Under the patronage of Chairman S. Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Prof. (Dr) Sanjay Kumar, Group Vice-Chancellor RBGI, has been honoured with the Indian Red Cross Society Award for his outstanding contribution to humanitarian services

The prestigious award was presented by Punjab Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria during a ceremony held at Punjab Raj Bhawan, organized by Shiv Dular Singh Dhillon, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch.

This marks the third consecutive recognition for Rayat Bahra University by the Indian Red Cross Society, reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Sanjay Kumar dedicated the award to the entire Rayat Bahra University fraternity and students, acknowledging their relentless efforts and contribution toward social causes.

Dr. Neena Mehta, Dean Academics, Rayat Bahra Dental College and Hospital, accompanied the Group Vice-Chancellor as the Red Cross Nodal Officer for the university and participated as a delegate in the award ceremony.

Chancellor S. Gurvinder Singh Bahra lauded the efforts of the university faculty and students, emphasizing that their dedication and community service have consistently brought laurels to the institution.
